1. Although popular destinations like Rome, Florence, and Venice are must-visit, don’t be afraid to explore lesser-known areas. Chances are, you’ll discover enchanting villages, bustling local markets, unique regional traditions, as well as and breathtaking landscapes.

3. To avoid crowds, consider visiting popular attractions early in the morning. This not only allows you to experience the sites with fewer people but also provides better photo opportunities. Also, if you plan to visit churches or religious sites, be mindful of dress code, because shoulders and knees should typically be covered.

2. Italy has an efficient public transportation system, composed of buses and trains. This is often a cost-effective and convenient way to explore large cities or different regions. Keep in mind that if you’re using trains for travel within Italy, be sure to validate your ticket before boarding.
